Hallo!

Our office

Our German Center

Besedo opened its new office in Magdeburg, Germany in 2021. As a result, the building and all the equipment we use is brand new. We are also located close to the city (15 minutes by tram).

Magdeburg is one of the most important cities in Germany. It is 1.5 hours away from Berlin, but with a more affordable cost of living.

We are a very young team and we love to spend time with each other. There is a good “social environment”. We play dart in our breaks with each other.

Currently we only hire content moderators in Magdeburg, but this may change in the future when we will start hiring more people.

Perks & benefits

Flexible working styles

Work-life balance is important to us at Besedo. We provide the benefit of partial working from home and flexible shifts so that you can perform at your best. We also offer extra days for annual leave based on years of service, extended parental leave and sabbatical leave.

Social events

Collaboration and building positive relationships with colleagues at work is a big part of our culture at Besedo. This is why we organize social events throughout the year like our weekly Fika (coffee break), which we eagerly adopt from Swedish culture.

Rewards culture

At Besedo, we value people who set themselves high expectations and seek to go the extra mile. We have company-wide prizes based on performance which are awarded to the best assignments every quarter. Our team won this prize in Q2 2021.

Energy boost

We take care of your daily energy boost. In the office, you will be provided with fresh fruit, coffee and tea.

Germany

The country of linguistics

Magdeburg is the capital of the German state of Saxony. It has had an important role in Germany’s history, as it is home to the first Holy Roman Emperor, Otto I and the scientist Otto Von Guericke. Today, the city is a vibrant German center where many people relocate for their studies.

Aside from its many historical attractions, it also hosts the Magdeburg Waterway Junction (the world’s longest canal bridge) and The Green Citadel of Magdeburg.
